Welcome to the Florida 2018-19 FTC season. FIRST team registration is open and the Florida leagues have already started identifying locations for your league events.  The Rover Ruckus game announcement will be on September 8, 2018 and the Rover Ruckus Teaser can be seen on the following FIRST web page: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc/game-and-season. We are still finalizing the dates and locations of the Florida kick-off events and I will send out an email newsletter in July officially announcing the kick-off event locations.  It is never too late to start your engineering notebook and adding team outreach events to build your first steps toward winning the Inspire Award at your League Championship and the Florida Championship.  This Florida FTC newsletter has information about a couple of upcoming outreach opportunities and a repeat of several important FIRST announcements”

I hope everyone has seen the FTC Relic Recovery game animation video and has been studying the rules in Part II of the Game Manual. I also encourage you to also read Part 1 of the game manual as this document also has a few changes this season. All of this information can be found on the following FIRST webpage https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc/game-and-season. If you have any questions about the rules in the game manual, team should post those questions on the FTC Forum to get officially clarification (https://ftcforum.usfirst.org/).
